Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil rose 44 cents to $60.9 per barrel (pb) on Tuesday, from $60.46 pb on Monday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, oil prices retreated more than 2% amid concerns over a global economic slowdown, following the announcement of negative data on Monday.
The International Energy Agency warned against a rise in US shale oil output, noting that it will have huge implications for global energy markets.
