Kuwait – Mubasher: The annual development plan in Kuwait includes projects worth KWD 4.7 billion for the year 2017/2018, said general secretariat of the Kuwaiti Supreme Council for Planning and Development Khaled Al-Mahdi.
The development plan will cover 165 projects in several sectors topped by infrastructure, Al-Mahdi said in a press conference held Sunday.
The overall cost of projects included in the five-year plan amounts to KWD 23.5 billion, he said, adding that these projects will be executed by government entities or based on the partnership system between the public and private sectors.
He noted that the finance of development projects will be allocated as 16.9% for the private sector, 49.3% for the government sector, while 33.8% will be covered through the oil sector in Kuwait.
