Mubasher: Kuwait's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached KWD 36.4 billion ($120 billion) in 2017, according to the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
This shows a growth rate of 8.7% at current prices, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The GDP at constant prices amounted to KWD 39.76 billion (131.2 billion) last year, decreasing by 2.9% year-on-year.
The fourth quarter of 2017 saw an economic growth rate of a staggering 7.1% year-on-year, and 3.2% quarter-on-quarter.
