Kuwait-Mubasher: The oil and gas sector in Kuwait is expected to slightly flourish during 2016 despite the rough international economic environment, according to Compagnie française d'assurance pour le commerce extérieur (COFACE).
COFACE said that the expected improvement will result in from the development plans scheduled from 2015 to 2019.
The French corporation said that the declining pressures on Brent crude oil in 2015 deepened the negative forecasts for both Kuwait’s oil and gas.
It added that despite the strong non-oil growth, the sector was not capable of compensating the overall oil production.
