Kuwait's electricity minister resigns after 2 weeks in office

Mubasher: The Amir of Kuwait has accepted the resignation of Mohammad Hejji Ali Bhushehri, the Minister of Electricity and Water, the cabinet's official spokesperson and head of Kuwait’s Center for Government Communication (CGC) Tareq Al Mizrem said on Monday.

The country’s oil minister, Khaled Mohamed Ali Al Fadhel, will be the acting minister for electricity and water.

It is noteworthy that on 17 February, a limited cabinet reshuffle was announced, including the appointment of Bhushehri.
