Kuwait - Mubasher: Kuwaiti exports declined by 9.5% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2016, according to the central statistical bureau (CSB).
Exports totalled KWD 3.624 billion in Q3-16, while imports decreased by 1% and reached KWD 2.239 billion, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The balance of trade was KD 1.385 billion, while it was KD 1.741 billion in July-September 2015 with a 20.5 percent decrease, the statement showed.
The balance of trade shrunk by 20.5% and recorded KWD 1.385 billion compared to KWD 1.741 billion in the same period last year.
In the same period, the volume of trade fell by 6.4% to KWD 5.862 billion compared with KWD 6.265 billion in the third quarter of 2015.
