Mubasher: Foreign investments in Kuwait reached $2.9 billion, Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan said on Monday.
Three Turkish companies specialised in construction have received licenses for investment in Kuwait, Al-Roudhan added on the sideline of the 9th Bosphorus Summit.
These firms will handle huge and megaprojects in the GCC country following Kuwait’s development plan that includes establishing a new terminal at Kuwait International Airport, the minister added.
Kuwait’s plan targets promoting and stimulating economic development in an effort to develop human values and get over obstacles undermining progress and cooperation across the world.
