Mubasher: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health announced that three Kuwaiti nationals had tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, bringing the total infected cases to eight in the country until the moment.
The three new cases arrived from Iran and were strictly quarantined, the ministry stated on its official Twitter page on Tuesday.
The cases are currently in a good medical condition and were referred to isolation in a hospital that is well-equipped to handle coronavirus patients.
On Monday, the Kuwaiti cabinet cancelled all celebrations scheduled for the National and Liberation Day holidays until further notice, in a bid to contain the spread of the China coronavirus.
In addition, Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended all flights to and from Iraq, South Korea, Thailand, and Italy.
