Mubasher: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has extended a KWD 42.36 million contract for Gulf Insurance Group.
Under the six-month deal started from 16 January, the Kuwaiti firm will provide health insurance services for retired citizens, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.
Gulf Insurance last reported an increase of 64.8% year-on-year during the third quarter of 2018, reaching KWD 4.02 million, compared to KWD 2.44 million.
During the first nine months of 2018, Gulf Insurance registered a profit rise of 35.7% to KWD 10.6 million from KWD 7.81 million in the same period a year ago.
The stock fell 1.4% to close Monday’s trading session at 640 fils, after 1,000 shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of KWD 640.
