Kuwait-Mubasher: Inflation in consumer prices slowed in Kuwait to 3.1% year-on-year in September, from 3.8% in August y/y, according to a statement issued by NBK.
NBK noted that Kuwait’s inflation in food prices declined to 4.4% y/y in September from 5.6% y/y in August as global food prices continued to fall.
“Inflation in housing services eased for the first time in a year, sliding from a six-year high in June of 6.5% y/y to 5.7% y/y in September,” added the report.
