Mubasher: Kuwait’s inflation increased by 0.71% year-on-year in April, according to data released by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
On a monthly basis, the Gulf nation’s consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged at 113.3 points in April, the state-run statistics agency said.
The prices of telecoms sector rose 4% year-on-year last month, while the housing segment prices inched down 0.6%, the CSB added.
In the same vein, the prices of health segment edged up 0.47% in April compared to the same month a year earlier, while the prices of food & beverages and telecoms sectors tumbled 0.19, and 1.02%, respectively.
The prices of five sections remained unchanged on a monthly basis in April.
