Mubasher: The inflation of Kuwait registered an increase of 0.72% in April 2018 compared to the same month in the prior year, according to the latest data by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
On a monthly basis, Kuwait’s consumer price index (CPI) added 0.09% to reach 112.5 points in April 2018.
Cigarettes and tobacco basket topped the list of six growing groups by 7.35%, while the transportation basket posted the least rise of 0.08%.
Meanwhile, the goods and services basket posted a decline of 0.09% on a monthly basis in April.
