Kuwait – Mubasher: The Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Kuwait increased by 3.62% year-on-year in October 2016.
The inflation settled at 143.2 basis points by the end of October this year as compared to 138.2 basis points in the same month a year ago, according to the latest data issued on Wednesday by Kuwait Central Statistical Bureau.
Kuwait’s inflation showed a year-on-year rise of 0.72% in the food and beverage group during October this year, while it fell by 0.06% when compared to the previous month.
The transportation and residence group recorded the highest rise of 10.40% and 7.40% respectively in October as compared to the same month in 2015.
