Mubasher: Kuwait’s non-oil exports inched up 0.14% year-on-year during February, logging KWD 25.2 million ($83 million), data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed.
The nation’s non-oil exports to the GCC counterparts amounted to KWD 15.5 million in February, the ministry’s data added.
The total value of Kuwait’s non-oil exports to foreign nations and other Arab peers, excluding the GCC, hit KWD 9.7 million in the second month of 2019.
The UAE ranked the biggest importer from Kuwait with KWD 10 million, followed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain with KWD 2.6 million, KWD 2.4 million, KWD 196,000, and KWD 70,000, respectively.
At the level of foreign nations and Arab partners, excluding the GCC, Iraq ranked first with KWD 2.1 million, followed by Italy with KWD 2 million, Jordan with KWD 1 million, and Belgium with KWD 952,000.
The ministry concluded that Kuwaiti exports to the GCC nations include jets fuel, aerosol products, liquids, various liquid gases, lifts, wool, glass fiber, glass panes, doors, furniture, and polypropylene.
