Kuwait’s oil slips 22 cents - KPC

Kuwait- Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil fell 22 cents at the closing of Wednesday’s session recording $44 per barrel (pb), down from $44.22 a barrel in the previous session, according to data released by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

For the fifth session in a row, oil prices have fallen, on the back of fears of the UK’s exit from the European Union and the announcement of the US Federal Reserve’s decision regarding interest rates.

Brent crude slid 86 cents to settle at $48.97 pb, while the US crude oil retreated 48 cents to reach $48.01 pb.

Oil and dollar prices declined at the opening of Thursday’s session, after the rise of gold.
