Kuwait-Mubasher: The projects market in Kuwait is expected to prosper during 2016, according to a statement issued by NBK’s research unit.
The Kuwaiti government is willing to approve contracts worth KWD 16.7 billion ($55 billion) before the end of the year, added the report.
NBK's research team went on to say that despite the budget deficit, the government showed no intention for decreasing capital expenses.
The report said that 2015 was a remarkable year, as the inked contracts reached a value of KWD 9.7 billion ($32.2 billion) which is 20% higher than 2014.
