Mubasher: Kuwait’s budgetary spending has hit KWD 14.79 billion ($48.84 million) in eleven months, starting from April 2018 until last February, according to the Ministry of Finance’s (MoF) monthly report.
The amount makes up around 68.8% of the GCC nation’s expected spending worth KWD 21.50 billion in fiscal year 2018/2019, the report added.
Year-on-year, Kuwait’s budgetary spending levelled down 4.58% during the eleven-month period ended last February, from KWD 15.50 billion in the prior-year period.
Kuwait’s fiscal year begins in April and ends in March.
