Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) grew 0.14% or 8.1 points to settle at 5,610.46 points at mid-session on Tuesday.
By 10:30 am Kuwait time, the weighted index inched up 0.1% or 3.6 points to reach 463.57 points. Also, Kuwait-15 index rose by 0.4% or 3.6 points.
Turnover stood at KWD 7.9 million, as trading volume reached 32.9 million shares changed hands through 670 transactions.
Burgan for Will Drilling topped the winners by adding 6.9%, while Kuwait Finance and Investment led the losers after a drop of 6.6%.
Al-Madina was the most active stock as 3.3 million shares were exchanged through 69 transactions, with a value of about KWD 111,300. The stock levelled up 3%.
Viva recorded the highest trades of around KWD 864,800 after 113 deals were traded by nearly 873,500 shares. However, the stock retreated 1% to 990 fils.
