Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait’s stock market rose by 1.34% or 70.07 points to end the week at 5,300.51 points as compared to the week ended 7 April when it closed at 5,230.44 points.
The weighted index gained 1.12% or 4.03 points to 356.07 by the week ended 14 April as compared to 361.04 points a week ago.
Kuwait-15 leveled up 1.2% or 10.27 points to reach 863.14 points this week from 852.87 points in the previous week.
Liquidity grew 30.9% to KWD 82.43 million over the week, as trading volume increased by 34% to 1.24 billion shares which were traded through 24,460 transactions.
During this week, market cap gained KWD 310 million to reach KWD 25.27 billion, compared to KWD 24.96 billion in the past week.
