Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a positive performance during the week ended 28 April as compared to the week ended 21 April.
The market’s price index gained 0.84% to settle at 5,391.81 points this week, compared to 5,346.95 points a week ago.
KSE’s weighted index leveled up 0.71% or 2.6 points to reach 366.28 points this week, compared to 363.68 points in the previous week.
Similarly, Kuwait-15 index rose by 0.93% or 8 points to 836.33 points from 855.36 points.
During this week, KSE’s liquidity dropped 3.4% to reach KWD 64.52 million, as trading volume shrank 15.4% to stand at 802.8 million shares that were traded through 18,850 transactions.
Market cap lost 0.69% or KWD 173 million over the week to approach KWD 25.31 billion as compared to KWD 25.14 billion a week ago.
