Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse witnessed a positive performance during this week, as the price index grew 1.34% or 69.31 points to settle at 5,244 points as compared to 5,174.69 points in the past week.
The weighted index levelled up 1.61% or 5.73 points to reach 362.1 points in the week ended 3 March compared to 356.73 points a week ago.
The weighted index increased 1.96% or 16.44 points to approach 854.63 points from 838.19 points in the previous week.
The market’s indices saw a collective rise in Sunday and Wednesday’s sessions, while their performance was mixed on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
KSE’s trading value grew 32.4% to KWD 59.27 million during the week, as trading volume increased by 44.2% to 778.11 million shares. The number of transactions reached 18,620.
Over the week, market cap gained KWD 379 million to stand at KWD 24.804 billion as compared to KWD 24.425 billion a week ago.
