Mubasher: The trade surplus of Kuwait with Japan increased by 32% in the six-month period from April to September 2018, according to the latest official data.
Kuwait’s trade surplus with Japan enlarged to 307.95 billion Japanese Yen ($2.74 billion) in the six-month period compared to 233.24 billion Japanese Yen ($2.08 billion) in the same period a year ago.
The Kuwaiti exports to Japan increased by 30.9% to total 398.57 billion Japanese Yen ($3.55 billion).
Imports from Kuwait to Japan grew by 27.2% to register a total of 90.63 billion Japanese Yen ($806.78 million) in the six months ended in September.
