Mubasher: Kuwait registered a trade balance surplus during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2018/2019, against a deficit in the same period of the previous year, according to recent data released by the ministry of finance.
The GCC nation’s trade balance surplus amounted to KWD 1.9 billion ($9.3 billion) in the seven-month period ended October, versus a deficit of KWD 2.3 billion ($7.6 billion) in the same period a year earlier.
Kuwait’s fiscal year starts in April and ends on 31 March.
