Mubasher: The balance of trade surplus between Kuwait and Japan reported a surge of 99.2% during the first six months of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
The surplus between the two nations recorded 267.32 billion Japanese Yen ($2.41 billion) in H1-17, according to recent official data issued by Japan’s finance ministry.
Kuwait's imports from Japan shrank by 11% to 79.59 billion Japanese Yen ($718.51 million) in H1-17, while Kuwait’s exports to Japan stood at 346.91 billion Japanese Yen ($3.13 billion).
