Mubasher: Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry spent KWD 22.8 million on subsidised food commodities and construction materials in March, Al Anba newspaper reported.
The total value of spending on subsidised food commodities, including basic commodities, in addition to children's foods amounted to KWD 13.1 million, the newspaper added.
The subsidy amount of baby milk and food reached KWD 97,800.
In the same vein, the ministry spent KWD 9.7 million to subsidise construction materials.
