Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange initiated Wednesday’s trading session on a positive note as the benchmark added 3.64 points, or 0.07%, to reach 5,255.44 points.
At 9:30am Kuwait time, the weight index levelled up 0.11%, or 0.4 points to settle at 357.28 points. In addition, the KSX 15 index increased 0.31% or 2.55 points to 837.7 points.
Trading volume reached 27.2 million shares traded over 700 transactions, at a turnover of KWD 1.31 million.
Tracking stock movement, Injazzat led the gainers with a rise of 6.67%, while the losers were headed by Kuwait Cable Vision with a slide of 8.77%.
Ajwan was the most active by volume as 2.74 million shares were traded at KWD 81,300. The real estate developer’s stock settled at 29 fils.
Zimah was the most active by value, recording a turnover of approximately KWD 104,000 after 1.9 million shares were traded at 54 fils.
