Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwaiti government plans to allocate 50% of the capital of 13 projects for subscription by citizens between 2016 and 2019, a leaked document said on Monday.
According to the document, the projects will be in accordance with the partnership system between the private and public sectors, while the citizen’s total quota amounts to about KWD 2.72 billion ($8.9 billion).
The projects includes power plants, rail way and subways.
The document, which the government intends to submit it to the National Assembly (parliament), said that Kuwait’s financial reform program includes redoing subsidies by 10%.
