Mubasher: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance (MoF) is close to completing a study on the planned restructure of government sector salaries, sources told Al Nahar newspaper.
The study underwent several stages and has extended for three years, the sources revealed, indicating that implementing the restructure would likely begin in early 2019.
A company specialised in the field was responsible for conducting the study, the newspaper said.
The wages item in Kuwait’s budget for 2016/2017 stood at around KWD 16.7 billion ($55.40 billion).
