Mubasher: Kuwait is planning to increase crude oil exports to China to over 600,000 barrels per day by 2019, deputy managing director of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation's International Marketing Sheikh Khaled Al-Sabah said.
The volume of Kuwait’s liquefied natural gas exports to China has increased to more than two million tonnes annually, accounting for around 40% of the GCC country’s total gas exports, Al-Sabah added, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The top official noted that Kuwait is one of China’s main strategic partners, especially in the energy sector.
The price of Kuwait’s crude oil declined by 21 cents to settle at $62.88 per barrel on Friday, compared to $63.09 pb a day earlier.
