Kuwait to lift ban on Friday prayers

Mubasher: Kuwait is set to lift the ban on Friday prayers at mosques starting 17 July, after four months of suspending the prayers as part of precautionary measurements against the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

Prayers will be held at more than 1,000 mosques across Kuwait this week, according to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

A number of preventive measures have been taken to prepare the mosques, and worshippers will also have to follow a number of health instructions.
