Mubasher: Kuwait has announced that it will raise oil production to 85,000 barrels per day (bpd), starting from Sunday, 1 July, under an agreement between The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and standalone producers, Kuwait’s minister of oil Bekhit Al-Rashidi said.
Kuwait’s oil output will reach 2.785 million bpd after increasing the production, compared to May supply.
Raising oil production will be implemented on two phases: the first will be carried out by increasing OPEC members’ production, and the second phase will be after a month, Al-Rashidi noted.
