Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait is seeking to enhance the private sector’s contribution towards economy by a 42% growth during the coming five years, said Kuwait’s planning and development affairs minister Hind Al-Sabih.
The country is currently executing a number of strategic projects among a five-year plan, the minister said during Kuwait Investment Forum held on Tuesday.
Al-Sabih noted that seven projects are set to be joint ventures between the public and private sectors in the fields of transportation, health, education, and infrastructure.
A law is being studied and stated to develop the Kuwaiti islands to guarantee the coordination with the private sector of which investments are expected to reach 90%.
