Mubasher: Kuwait’s electricity and water ministry is currently working on implementing an integrated management system for water resources, through its collaboration with the other GCC nations, undersecretary of the ministry Mohammed Bu Shahri told Al Qabas newspaper.
Kuwait currently ranks the first among Arab countries in terms of the quality of the country's drinking water, Bu Shahri added.
On a separate note, the Water Research Center in Kuwait Institue for Scientific Research (KISR) is currently studying the possibility of reducing the cost of producing drinking water to serve a larger number of consumers.
