Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait’s trade surplus with Japan narrowed by 89.8% in October, compared with the same month a year ago, recording its fifth successive monthly decline, according to a report issued Thursday by the Finance Ministry.
The country’s trade surplus with Japan fell to JPY 10.9 billion ($89 million), due to a drop in exports.
Kuwait’s total exports to Japan went down by 73.6% year-on-year to JPY 33.8 billion ($275 million), while Japan’s exports to Kuwait rose by 9.9% to JPY 22.9 billion ($186 million).
