Mubasher: The gross domestic product (GDP) of Kuwait at constant prices grew 1.2% year-on-year in 2018, recording KWD 39.67 billion ($131.2 billion).
The GCC country’s GDP at current prices went up 11.4% during the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the year-ago period.
Moreover, the Kuwaiti GDP at constant prices rose 2% year-on-year in Q4-18, boosted by oil prices, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The oil sector contributed 47% to Kuwait’s GDP at current prices, 53.9% at constant prices, in the last three months of 2018.
