Mubasher: The Islamic financing sector in Kuwait has been ranked among the best performing banks among the GCC countries, Al Qabas Newspaper said, according to Meed Magazine.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) is considered one of the largest five Islamic banks in the Gulf area, Meed Magazine said.
Boubyan Bank is also ranked among the biggest 15 banks in the GCC states, Al Qabas added, according to Meed.
Islamic banks has acquired 14% of the total local banking system in Kuwait until June 2017, endorsing its constant expansion in the market.
Meed Magazine added that the Islamic banks have been facing weak economic growth in the region in line with decline in oil prices.
