Kuwaiti Petrofac lands $1.3bn oil deal

Kuwait – Decypha: Kuwait Oil Company’s (KOC) has awarded Petrofac a $1.3 billion contract for gathering centre project, GC 32, located at Burgan oil field, southeast of Kuwait, reported World Oil.

The project is the first of its kind, as it is the first sour gathering centre to be developed in the field. Work is  expected to be completed by mid-2020, according to Market Watch.

 The centre includes processing of crude oil and associated gas recovered from the Arifjan, Marat, Minagish Oolite and Burgan Wara high hydrogen sulphide fields.
