Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market rose by 0.15% or 8.42 points to close at 5,624.60 points on Wednesday.
The weighted index inched up 0.11% or 0.42 points to reach 382 points, also, Kuwait-15 index grew 0.05% or 0.41 points to 903.66 points.
Today’s trading volume stood at 99.75 million shares that generated KWD 12.83 million through 2,898 transactions.
Health care sector topped the gainers by 0.76%, while basic materials led the decliners by 3.27%.
Manazel was the top winner by 12.2% to 23 fils, while Zima led the losers by 8.06% to 114 fils.
Securities Group was the most active stock on which 15.06 million shares were traded through 241 deals, with a value of about KWD 611,050. The stock settled at 39.5 fils.
NBK recorded the highest trading value of KWD 3.5 million, after 4.33 million shares were exchanged through 810 fils.
