Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait’s stock market rose by 0.86% or 45.63 points to end Wednesday’s session at 5,368.25 points; the second rise in a row.
The weighted index levelled up by 0.62% or 2.19 points to reach 358.27 points. Similarly, Kuwait-15 index gained 0.77% or 6.36 points to close at 836.19 points.
Liquidity grew 54.6% to KWD 13.69 million, as trading volume increased by 67.38% to 229.97 million shares.
The consumer services topped the gainers by a rise of 1.59%, while the oil and gas sector led the decliners by 0.7%.
Future Kid Entertainment and Real Estate was the top winner by a growth of 15.79%, while Gulf Glass Manufacturing headed the losers by 7.14%.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 41.94 million shares were traded through 520 transactions at a value of KWD 1.63 million.
