Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed Wednesday’s session falling 0.01% or 0.5 points to the level of 5,374.78 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also declined by 0.5% and 0.74% respectively.
Turnover shrank 44.1% to KWD 6.54 million from KWD 11.7 million on Tuesday, trading volume also dropped 44.8% to 68.39 million shares from 123.92 million shares exchanged yesterday.
The technology sector was the worst performer after shrinking 2.5%, while the basic materials sector was the best performer after adding 1%.
Kuwait Cable Vision led gainers with a growth of 12.5%, whereas Gulf Franchising Holding topped decliners with a 7.35% decrease.
Aayan Leasing and Investment was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 10.6 million shares, while Kuwait Food – Americana made the highest liquidity of KWD 523,840.
