Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a grouped rise by the end of Monday’s trading session.
The price index gained 0.07% to 5,443.24 points to record its third rise in a row, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.06% and 0.28% respectively.
The telecom sector topped five gainers with 1.55% on the back of Hits Telecom, Zain, and Viva which gained 5%, 2.53%, and 1.2% respectively.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led six decliners with 0.71%, dragged by Ithmaar which lost 6.8% to be the top loser.
The real estate sector also inched down 0.01% on the fall of seven shares led by Al-Aqaria which retreated 4.35%.
KSE’s liquidity gained 0.11% to KWD 18.33 million as trading volume increased by 8.8% to 165.39 million shares.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 18.2 million shares were traded.
Zain stock recorded the highest trading value of KWD 3.9 million.
