Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Monday’s session in the green zone; the price index rose by 0.47% or 27.26 points to close at 5,775.35 points, and both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.06% and 0.08% respectively.
The financial services segment topped eight gainers with 0.78% on the back of Markaz which rose by 5.7%.
The real estate sector levelled up by 0.56%, endorsed by the 9.43% growth of Marakez which was the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led three decliners with a drop of 0.83%, as Ooredoo and Viva lost 5% and 1.1% respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value shrank to KWD 9.05 million, as trading volume decreased to 102.26 million shares.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 22.67 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 2.42 million. The stock levelled up by 4%.
