Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled down by the end of Sunday’s session; the price index fell 0.33% or 18 points to 5,410.97 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 0.56% and 0.7% respectively.
KSE’s trading value shrank 5.8% to KWD 5.52 million, while trading volume decreased 15.6% to 54.67 million shares.
The consumer goods sector headed eight decliners by 2.7%, dragged by Kuwait Cable which dropped 10.9% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped three gainers by 0.23% on the back of Marine which gained 2.2%.
Tahssilat was the top winner by a 5.41% growth to 39 fils, after nearly 13,000 shares were traded at a value of KWD 474.
Bayan was the most active stock on which 6.21 million shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 201,700. The stock fell 1.52% to 32.5 fils.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity that stood at KWD 1.63 million after 3.47 million shares were exchanged. The stock reached 470 fils.
