Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s session down 0.65% or 34.60 points to reach 5,320.22 points.
Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.45% and 0.34% respectively.
KSE’s trading value grew 69.6% to KWD 10.71 million, as trading volume increased 50.2% to 113.33 million shares.
The financial services sector led eight decliners with 1.5%, dragged by KMEFIC and KFIC which lost 10.2% and 6.9% respectively.
The telecom sector headed three gainers with 0.82%, on the back of Ooredoo which rose 7.55% to top the winners.
Nafais was the most active stock on which 48.34 million shares were traded through 21 transactions at a value of KWD 8.7 million. The stock ended the session at 180 fils.
