Kuwaiti bourse ends Tuesday higher

Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Tuesday’s trading session rising by 0.40% or 21.95 points to close at 5,491.30 points.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 1.65% and 2.13% respectively.

The banks sector was the top gainer with 2.18%, endorsed by CBK and KFH which gained 5% and 3.9% respectively.

KSE’s trading value increased to KWD 20.53 million, as trading volume grew to 127.2 million shares.

As shares reaching attractive levels of purchase, rapid speculations encouraged investors to create new positions, technical analyst Nawaf Al-Ajami said.

Despite the positive performance seen on Tuesday, liquidity is still at low levels, he added.
