Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Wednesday’s trading session down 0.07% or 3.83 points to 5,346.54 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.82% and 0.41% respectively.
The basic materials sector led five decliners with 0.53%, dragged by Boubyan Petrochemical which lost 2.13%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector topped four gainers with 0.54%, on the back of livestock which rose 4.55%.
KSE’s turnover decreased 9.5% to KWD 2.94 million, as trading volume levelled down 1.1%to 36.46 million shares.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of nearly 279,300.
Investors was the most active stock on which 5.8 million shares were traded.
