Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s session with a mixed performance, as the price index gained 0.53% or 28.42 points to reach 5,396.67 points.
Meanwhile, the weighted index fell by 0.17% or 0.60 points to close at 357.67 points. Similarly, Kuwait-15 index retreated 0.56% or 4.69 points to 831.50 points.
Liquidity rose by 14% to KWD 15.6 million, as trading volume increased by 6.8% to 245.7 million shares.
The industrial sector topped the gainers by 1.34%, followed by the consumer goods and the financial services which levelled up by 0.81% and 0.5% respectively. Meanwhile, the technology sector headed the decliners by 0.76%.
Mayadeen was the top winner by a growth of 8.9%, while Marakez led the losers by 4.5%.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 42 million shares were exchanged through 411 transactions, at a value of KWD 1.7 million.
