Kuwaiti bourse falls in mid-session

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled 0.24% or 12.7 points down to reach 5,185.67 points at 10:45 am Kuwait time on Sunday.

The Weighted Index dropped 0.33% or 1.17 points to settle at 356.17 points. Also, KSX 15 fell 0.13% or 1.07 to approach 839.48 points.

The price index is facing resistance at 5,190 and 5,197 points respectively on Sunday, technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun said, adding that the index will target 5,325 points amid support at 5,174 and 5,097 points respectively.

Trading value amounted to KWD 10.4 million after 104.2 million shares were exchanged through 2,260 transactions.

Kuwait Syrian Holding topped the winners by adding 10.2%, while Kuwait Cable led the losers with a decline of 7.7%.

Al Dar National Real Estate was the most active stock as 13.33 million shares were exchanged.

NBK stock recorded the highest value of KWD 4 million.
