Kuwaiti bourse in green at open

Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged up 0.02% to reach 5,393.79 points by 9:25 am Kuwait time on Monday. Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.06% each.

Liquidity stood at KWD 1.6 million, as trading volume reached 23.4 million shares which were traded through 555 transactions.

Six sectors were in the green zone, topped by the consumer goods which gained 0.51%. Similarly, the financial services sector levelled up 0.4%, backed by National International Holding which rose by 5.88% to top the winners.

Meanwhile, four sectors were in the red zone, dragged by technology which retreated 0.25%.

Mushrif Trading headed the losers by 6.7% or 5 fils to reach 70 fils.

Al Mal was the most active stock on which 3.9 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 106,300. The stock rose 1.85%.

Danah Al Safat recorded the highest liquidity which stood at around KWD 334,000 after 2.66 million shares were traded. The stock levelled up 3.28%.
