Kuwaiti bourse in red at Sunday’s close

Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) retreated 0.35% or 18.85 points to end Sunday’s session at 5,309.15 points.

The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 0.41% and 0.15% respectively.

The banks sector led the decliners with 0.82% in line with the fall of NBK and GBK which lost 1.08% and 0.87% respectively.

KSE’s real estate segment lost 0.77%, dragged by Sanam which dropped 8.3% to top the losers.

The financial services retreated 0.48%, as GFH lost 3.5%.

Meanwhile, the technology and insurance sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 0.73% and 0.24% respectively.

KSE’s liquidity grew 26.3% to KWD 5.09 million, as trading volume increased 60.6% to 53.96 million shares.
